# Book a delivery appointment

PUT https://dream.rushorder.com/api/inbound

Books the PO's delivery into one of four two-hour time slots on the given date: `0` is 8–10 AM, `1` is 10 AM–12 PM, `2` is 12–2 PM, and `3` is 2–4 PM. Check [`GET /inbound/timeslots`](https://docs.rushorder.com/api-reference/inbound/list-timeslots) first, because slots are shared across all inbound deliveries. A confirmation email is sent once the appointment is booked.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (basic auth, required) — Basic authentication of the form `Basic <base64(username:password)>`.

## Request

### Query parameters

- `poRef` (string, required) — The PO reference number.
- `bol` (string, optional) — The bill of lading. If the PO was submitted with a bill of lading, include it here, or the PO will not be found.
- `apptDate` (date, required) — The appointment date.
- `timeslot` (enum, required) — `0` is 8–10 AM, `1` is 10 AM–12 PM, `2` is 12–2 PM, and `3` is 2–4 PM.
  - Allowed values: `0`, `1`, `2`, `3`

### Headers

- `RushOrderMomCode` (string, required) — All requests require the header to contain RushOrderMomCode, a 3 character string that represents the client internally in Rush Order. This should be given to you by Rush Order.

## Response

### 200

Success

- `Success` (boolean, optional)
- `Error` (string, optional, nullable) — Why the request failed. Null on success.
- `Message` (string, optional, nullable) — Same as `Error`.

## Errors

### 400 Bad Request Error

The appointment could not be booked.

No active inbound PO matches.
